The Replacement Gas Strut for Roadmaster Tow Defender # RM-200023-50 only has a 65 lb rating so you'll need something closer to that 110 lb rating like one of the following:
- Universal Gas Strut - 107 to 117 lbs Force - 19-11/16" Extended Length - 8-1/4" Stroke # ATL94RR
- Universal Gas Strut - 107 to 117 lbs Force - 23" Extended Length - 10" Stroke # ATL53BR

I may have a solution for you, but the Replacement Lid Support for Yakima Cargo Boxes # 8880683 will not work to replace the gas strut on your old Yakima Rocketbox. I'm not seeing any actual Solera Awnings that are 5'9", which would be quite small for an awning that uses a gas strut. With that said, I can tell you exactly what you need to measure to determine which gas strut replacement you'll want to use. The # LC260282 measures 24.38" when extended and 14.70" when retracted, so if you measure your strut and get those dimensions you can use that strut.. The other options is the # LC280343 which measures 26.46" when extended and 15.04" when retracted.

Since nothing corresponds with those part numbers, I recommend measuring your existing struts to find a replacement. For example, the Gas Shock # 372-5300-60 measures 20" extended and 11.41" compressed. If you have similar measurements you could use this as a replacement. If you need a 10 mm ball socket for the struts you can use the # 372BR-1020 or # 372BR-12553 for installation.

I can help you get your awning back in working order but it's going to involved switching out your entire support arms with the Solera Universal kit which comes in Black # LC434727 or White # LC434728 and measures 69" tall (the rail that is installed to the side of your trailer) or the short arm assembly which comes in Black # LC404523 or White # LC97UD (you'll need 2 of these).

From what I could find on the SE160p-90 it's a 16" gas strut with a 90lb pressure rating. Since we don't carry the 90lb in a 16" length the safest option would be to go lower to the 15" # 372-2125-90. You won't be able to get the door open as far but you also won't have to worry about the door pressing too far out and contacting something else.
If you have the extra clearance space then you can go with the # 372-2200-90, but I do recommend measuring first to ensure fitment. view full answer...
